Jerome thought it was pagan to bathe. By the way, I LOVE your acts of peter thing. It's so funny and compelling. I don't think I consider myself a Gnostic anymore though, after reading it, though I still like a lot of Gnostic ideas. I'm going to save up for the Acts of Peter. Thank you for that.

Edit--- wait, Peter is also called SImon, isn't he???? Is the dog talking to himself?
