Wave a gun around in that situation and about the best you can hope for is to end up kissing the pavement with some cop's knee in your back and gun at your head while he cuffs you as HE IS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IS GOING ON. In that situation the cop is not about to take your word for it that you weren't the original shooter.
