I completely agree with you on America needing to change, Israel, Iraq and Afghanistan are proofs of this, but Libya, Iran and Syria are not.

The United States and the United Kingdom sold arms and weaponry to Iraq throughout the 8 year war.

Regardless of a treaty they signed, it is still wrong to tell a sovereign nation what they can and can't do.
They need WMD for a deterrent from US attack. When was the last time American attacked someone with WMD. Besides Pakistan recently.

These are very new revelations to me as well, when Libya thing started I was all for the NATO bombing, but I have sense educated myself, and it was basically mass murder by NATO.
