I'm Canadian. When the tundra warms up and unlocks all that rich dinosaur-laden soil for agriculture, we're going to have a population boom and start building up our military. But don't worry-- we won't attack the States, because the tumbleweed market won't ever pay off the way the Republicans are banking it will.

Saying models "fail" is like saying a hammer failed. A hammer is just a tool-- the user needs enough info about his environment to be able to hit the nail on the head.
Also, using this as an excuse to keep digging giant holes in the earth, to belch toxic gases into the atmosphere, and to hoard most of the Earth's wealth among a few people in a few countries, is a shitty, evil thing to do. An oil exec's 5th yacht is worth much less than my young daughter's pink, healthy lungs.
