What is even worse is a defective weapon and its manufacturer that refuses to do anything about it. I saw a report last Sunday on 60 Minutes about the Remington 700, a rifle that has a trigger mechanism that jiggles when handled without anyone's finger being anywhere near the trigger. Hundreds of complaints by customers, a man with one son dead and another one arrested and jailed for no good reason, and Remington company looks the other way.
