I watched "Corbin Nash" a strange film with an Occult Theme which seemed to be something about Demonic Vampires.
The thing that got to me was how it pandered to what evangelical Christians seemed to believe. The Occult elements which the chief protagonist denied initially were there, so far so meh. But then the main demon was a transsexual for no reason other than to demonise transsexuals, the "good guy" would say things like "I don't even know what that was" just after describing the other demon as a man.
Then when the demons explained why they were killing and eating people randomly from the streets. The explanation was one word "evolution", I can see stupid people nodding to this in my minds eye.
I don't know if this film was directly funded by Christians but it sure pandered to the lowest elements of the brand.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.
