I mean forget about David Lynch, this is the truly disturbing movie because it's obviously made for lobotomized people and that there are so many lobotomized people that Hollywood sees it profitable to make movies for them is disturbing.
So I feel violated. Watching "I Spit On Your Grave" is a picnic compared to how excruciatingly painful this movie is to watch
Quite honestly, the 1950 version wasn't a lot better. I suspect it may be the premise - if stars like Spencer Tracy, Elizabeth Taylor, Steve Martin and Diane Keaton can't save a film, it was probably a bad idea to begin with.
