Origins are not involved in nearly ANY scientific endeavor. There are a handful of scientists who explore the theoretical biochemistry of origins, a tiny field which is... wait for it.... SEPARATE FROM EVOLUTIONARY BIOLOGY. Evolutionary science deals with change in genomes. A genome had to exist for evolutionary science to study it.

Now, it is fine if you want to argue against both those fields. But stop being so embarrassingly dense and realize that creationists are the ONLY people who see these as one thing.

And the scientific method and standards of evidence in evolutionary science are the same as in all other branches of Biology, and evolutionary science is responsible for many of the antibiotics on the market. So best not take any of those.
