Horrible isn't it. Especially if thinking critically counts as a misstep. I should really remind myself of that more often, I mean how lucky I am to be free like this.

THERE is a principle in American law - ie - acting with depraved indifference - where IF you know about a crime about to be committed - and you have the ability to report or prevent it - IF YOU DO NOT - you can be prosecuted for abetting the crime

So - if YOU know someone plans to kill - and YOU do not tell the police - you are simply ALLOWING it to happen and are just as responsible as the person actually committing the crime.

And that is one place where the "god" of religion claim fails.

It is claimed that the god is ALL KNOWING - so it knows about every crime that will happen

It is claimed that the god is ALMIGHTY so it can prevent every crime without any extra effort.

And the god is supposed to be ALL GOOD - as well - so it would WANT TO prevent the crime (A good person would not allow it to happen)

Any god - if ONE existed - that would allow the holocaust to happen - (Among others) - would be nothing more than a criminal who deserves to be hanged.

And even in the bible - the god ALLOWS innocents to be killed
IN every population - there exists a group - infants and young children - who are not mentally able to "sin" . Children under age five today represent more than 15% of the population - and back when the average life expectancy was less than 30 years (The roman life expectancy at the supposed time of the christ) - the percentage would be MUCH higher.

Yet - there exists NO place where the god saved these innocents from the slaughter of the great flood - or Sodom and Gomorrah - and others. One cannot say that god knew they would have sinned - since "free choice" allows them to change their minds (Or it does not exist) - so should not be judged by things not actually done. THis is nothing more than MURDER - pure and simple

And the bible also states that we are NOT responsible for the sins of others. THAT alone causes TWO problems

1 - In the Passover - what did the average first born Egyptian do to deserve to be killed because the Pharaoh refused to free the jews? NOTHING and yet this MASS MURDER of innocents is celebrated by theists of different religions.

IF the god is all good - none of this should have happened at all.
More LOGICAL reasons why the claims of religion are false.
