and what is a Gwynnite anyways is that a real religion?
"Gwynnite" reflects my ridiculous obsession with Gwyneth Paltrow.
My take on Christianity is that Paul invented an idealized character to embody Holy Spirit as an intermediary between the mortal and the divine. It makes sense to me that later followers of the nascent cult imbued their hero with such commentary. Anyone invested with Holy Spirit is essentially god.
i hope my sister comes and comments on that topic she has a lot of opinions about Paul doesnt think it shouldve been included and ruined the NT and christianity, she knows the Bible backwards and forwards read it through more times than she can remember when she used to be a christian , and would probabally agree with you on that one . i told her i started this thread so she will probabally be popping in here later at some point .
what is the nascent cult ? i never heard of it
Imagine there's no heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you will join us And the world will be as one - John Lennon
