You're actually here, pretending that you both require and have not been provided with a "proper reason" as to that deep unresolved mystery of the universe...this is what karma purportedly explains?
Unimpressive. Poverty as punishment, wealth as reward - hear it from the christers too. I'm baffled as to why you find them so difficult to understand, you guys are in lock step. What's the takeaway from all of this? If you do bad things karma will turn you into a poor Somali girl and then rape you? GL with that shit.
Quote:Good sir atleast I'm responsible for my actions. I don't have a safe feeling that if I do something wrong still I will be alright. This, right here, meh. Do you think that makes you different from christians, or atheists? It doesn't, I can assure you. But so what, why bicker over what brings another a safe feeling when you have your own blanket as well? Karma is your safe feeling. That, for example..if you do it all right, wrong won't happen to you. I don't want to be there for the day you realize this isn't so. GL with that, as well.
If I do bad karma , bad deeds, misdeeds what ever you may call it. Yes depending on the action. Might not be a rape case it might be something else. A rape case may be an effect of extreme misdeeds.
Yes you are correct. No matter how good I live till I die I'm not certain if nothing will happen to me. I might be in a car crash , I might get leukemia. I believe ( again it's only me out of 7 billion people) it may what I have done in my past lives. So in this life I try to accumulate more good karma so that the person in the next life can benefit. This goes on until your free of attachments. Human beings want to enjoy life. Human beings can never be satisfied, craving for more and more. New things, adventures , climbing up the ladder etc etc. it's never ending. Until one finds the root cause.
Anyway it's just me out of 7 billion.

I suppose famine isn't out of karmas reach, the starving deserve it, after all. Can I add famine to the list of tools at karmas disposal for the righteous adjudication of sin?
Doesn't have to be namely sir. But things like that. Any bad thing that happens everywhere. Things that happen to people in day to day life.
