If the story of Babel is true, why didn't God sabotage man's efforts to create planes?
Another thing to consider: the only reason God would get angry at man for trying to "build a tower to reach Heaven", is if Heaven itself really were up in the sky. But we've been there. No Heaven. Christians say, "Heaven exists in another dimension" or "we can't see or feel it." If that is true, then why would God care that man were trying to build a tower up to the sky (where they thought Heaven was) in the first place? A realistic God would have laughed it off as folly.
