Yep. Regardless of their actions and divorced from their motivations, they're still people. I have no dogmatic axe to grind; I have no incentive to dehumanise them. Did they commit inhuman acts? Yes. Are they less than human because of them? No, and they must be tried as humans committing inhuman acts. I honestly don't see why this should be a problem.
