One thing that I think helped is when we moved from diapers to underwear, we got them some special underwear (sort of like boxer briefs, with ninja turtles and batman on them) that they didn't want to get dirty. I think that helped more than anything.
But two is pretty young. Sounds like he's making some progress, if he'll sit on his potty, even if it's with a diaper on. Won't be too much longer till he's out of them
Is two, really young for potty training? I had my youngest daughter fully trained by 18 months. Only took two weeks from start to finish.
