No sorry, in this instance it wont work. There is lots I can laugh about, but my country is making me sick and we are letting one lobby and one industry control the narrative and bully our congress. Gun death in America isn't just about what I think, this affects our economy even if you don't want to talk about lives.
This shooting alone will cost that county millions because of the investigation, on top of all the lost work from all the businesses that had to shut down, not to mention the medical care for the survivors. But this isn't just about one mass shooting. Our ER rooms are filled every day from gun injuries and that drives up the cost of insurance and or gets dumped on the tax payers. So if the right is all about money then that alone should motivate them to do something about it. But this is about lives and it is not going to get reduced until sane people stand up to the morons who prop up these conditions.
You're taking it out on the wrong people, Brian. You're going to have a hard time getting people to listen to you if you don't cut out the histrionics.
Hardly, I am not the only one who feels this way, so if others don't like my word choice, they will still go to other venues and or to advocacy groups on their own without me. I doubt anyone whom sides with me that might disagree with my word choice is in danger of becoming a tea party gun worshiper.
Again, this is as bad as when people get angry at the people getting angry at the right people. Like when you say fuck homophobes and someone is more worried about offending the bigots.
Fine, nobody has to listen to me, but if you want to do something, don't complain about me, if you think you can do better then do it. The goal is still the same, get more voices on the subject.
The amount of gun death should offend you, not me saying "I want this shit to stop".
