And yet my aunt, having lived and worked in New Yersey for all her adult life - as a high school teacher - moved to Canada after retirement. Because of the health system. I believe it had something to do with the insurance determining which doctor you're allowed to see and what hospitals to go in case of emergency.
I have the VA, so I get free health care. Your aunt made a good move, I think, medical costs are absurd in this country.
