I believe with displayport you can daisychain.
Since buying an Sview case with wireless charging for my S5 (and the wife), we can never go back to plugging anything into our phone. Ever.
I use MyPhoneExplorer (free) to access every part of my phone wirelessly. I can't even think of a reason where I'll need a cable!
And in my experience, it charges wirelessly as fast as usb3!
