Ha! You can't even get that with a job in the US. We're not a bunch of nanny state coddlers, you don't think we're giving away what we won't even pay someone, do you?
EBT (foodstamps) is a subsidy for agriculture, not welfare for the poor, btw. If you're not from the US, you probably don't know this (most americans don;t either), but our welfare program is on our Farm Bill.
