Maybe we are overthinking this ?? Menstruating Christian women do not enter churches. We are assuming some things not in evidence when we note "apparent" Christian women in "apparent" Christian churches. It's entirely possible the stricture is rigorously observed by Christian women in regards to their churches, and we are mistaking other women in other churches.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
