There are plenty of organisms that can regrow limbs. No one claims they do it with the use of the supernatural, or a god.
Some folks are reluctant atheists. They only leave the faith because the possible justification for believing is so meager that they can't intellectually make it work. In such a situation you wouldn't need a conclusive reason, just one that tips the scale back where you'd like to see it go.
Not speaking for Jehanne of course; she is fully capable of doing that herself.
