I understand most people here trust government but you have to listen to the whistle blowers or those who speak out outside the official chain of command of communication. Those that want to pass information on to the people don't have a voice in the main stream media. They push it through the alternative media. Those who are over the target get the most flack. That's why the msm attack those who are disturbing their control of the narrative because they want to be the voice of authority. If you want to know what they are not telling you, you must look elsewhere.
I work with people in the military and if they spot a gullible fool they will feed all sorts of bullshit for shits and giggles.
They do other things as well, the Navy have Gronk boards were they go out of they way to fuck and have photographic evidence of fucking the most ugly woman they can find and the winner of most heinous fuck gets a prize, all offerings are displayed in the mess (not so much these days but it was the norm in British warships).
British soldiers try to out "beast" each other which is to do the most disgusting thing they can think of. The most disgusting thing I heard was one squady shat in a pint glass mixed it into his pint and drank it, in the pub.
This is the sort of mentality you are dealing with and they have found the village idiot.
I'd be curious of their level, and what they are sharing. The enlisted really don't have much. It's the officers and above that have more access. From what you are describing it's nothing I'd pay attention to. I don't listen to everything people in military have to say.

That's just gullible.
Well to be fair, nothing that's classified secret can be substantiated through the normal way the masses accept it which is through the main stream media which feeds them morsels. I do listen to people with military backgrounds. Don't know about you, but if you are unwilling to listen to people because the news hasn't informed you about a certain subject, you would be quite naieve to just ignore anything they haven't validated for you. Really the masses are only getting maybe 5% of the truth, but made to believe it's the whole truth for the purpose of perception management. It's easier to control a dumbed down population than an informed one.
You should really seek out other sources that are not mainstream, and then decide for yourself, rather then deciding since the news hasn't confirmed something for you and just ignoring what people are talking about. Some on this board say they don't believe the military can keep secrets this big. They do because people don't investigate them because they are not on the news or in scientific journals. The truth is out there, just don't expect the establishment to tell you their secrets. It's the whistle blowers you want to listen to, and then reserach further to make up your own mind. Ignoring them, and drawing conclusions is ignorance. I've heard a lot of people say they will not even listen to what anyone has to say about certain subjects, yet are certain they are lying. Wouldn't you want to at least hear what they have to say before making up your mind? I'm a person that goes to all sides of the spectrum seeking truth. You can't just stay in a bubble. You have to get out and explore.
