Thank you for calling me young!
Cross 50 and everyone under 40 looks young. But I would have guessed you for closer to 30.
Yeah, I've always looked younger than I am. When I went to USAFA, I put on my uniform and thought, "I look like a little kid putting on his dad's uniform."
It also meant I didn't do very well with women, except on a "let's be frrrrrrrriiieeeeeeeeeends" and "you remind me of my baby brother" level until I was almost out of college, and my face matured a tiny bit. I guess most women don't want to hook up with a 21 year old that looks 14. But as I get older, it has proved to be a very good thing.
Still, since I'm staring 40 right in the face, it's nice to hear "young".
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
