Aww, thanks, Losty. I'm posting from the car, as he's driving.
Funny thing is that I brought my leather pants, too, but my partner had repacked them under the seat... so when we went to ride, I thought I'd forgotten them. Felt weird to ride without them.
We dropped off his bike for a quick warranty-keeping service, but it needed a part they didn't have, so they offered to let us test ride any of their used bikes we wished. Ergo, it was a fun afternoon anyway, despite feeling strange riding in jeans. Gator (business partner), on the other hand, can't be convinced to ride in sleeves, let alone leathers. Never understood that. I always joke that the way he rides is like going raw-dog with a prostitute... yeah it might feel better and you might get away with it 99 out of 100 times, but on that 100th time, you're going to REALLY regret not wearing full protection!

A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
