: sigh : So busy but I'm posting these before I start in on my to-do list here at work and forget
My Baltimore trip:
Gettysburg - the view from Little Round Top
I would highly recommend a trip to Gettysburg to anyone who has never been there! It's beautiful and interesting and spend whatever you have to to get an in-car tour guide that will drive you around the park in your own car and tell you about the battle.
The Rehoboth, Delaware Beach where my sister's in-law have a beach house - the cutest little 700sf house all decked out with beach decor. The first thing my dad did when we got there was find a home depot and fix the crawl space access in the laundry room, lol
Rehoboth Avenue with Dolles Taffy in the backround
My brother-in-law, dad and sister playing the ski-ball horses at Funland on the Rehoboth Boardwalk - apparently my brother-in-law is obsessed with this game and has been since he was a little boy. We went home with 6 stuffed horses as prizes, most of which were surrendered to my sister's dog
The Ocean City, Maryland boardwalk with my oldest sister in the foreground - five miles of boardwalk!
George Washington's tomb at Mt. Vernon. I'd have shared a picture of the house but it was covered in scaffolding from the construction work they were doing to the roof. Just my luck...
A demo of George Washington's gristmill, a working period mill that's so cool
George Washington's Distillery - they sell bottles of the rye whiskey (puke!) and brandy for about $175 a bottle! Yikes!!
The night before I left I drove up into Pennsylvania to meet Judi! This is Judi giving me a manicure - the pretense for letting me come visit her while she was in school She's so cool, y'all! And she's got a great, funny, charming daughter who is just a riot (Sorry for the blurriness, didn't check the photo after I took it)
Me and Judi right before I left
Alrighty, back to the grindstone - no rest for the weary! I really should have taken the rest of this week off to recover from this vacation... lol

Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
