I think it's because they're mostly limp, or look limp. Try to give them some movement, or just some strength by crossing them, or something.
If my arms look limp, that's actually pretty good. It means i'm very relaxed. In a way that's a compliment because people use to tell me that i look very tense in my photos a few years back.

Well the photo was me actually lifting the blessing pumpkin but it came out blurry. The relative taking the photo asked me to just leave it by me.
