But now, the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger Hellcats with their powerful Hemis would be my choice of muscle car today. As far as trucks I've owned two Dodges, three Ford's, and one GMC. If I were to have a choice of trucks today for home use and for it's power I would definitely go for the Dodge Express with it's nearly 400 hp Hemi. Dodge also has a mid size high performance SUV of sorts, the Dodge Durango with its 475 HP Hemi. All I need now is the funds to buy one.
I can't stand the Charger and Challenger, they are so ugly lol. Mind you I base cars off their looks not their performance unless it's really bad. I would prefer to just have a 60s Corvette and leave it at that for muscle. I had a 79 T top for a few years but divorce will make you sell shit so the other person doesn't get it lol.
I have a F150 and my husband had a Dodge 1500 so they were level playing fields and my Ford usually won out in comparisons. They only thing his dodge had was a longer bed but that is trivial. I do think Chevy and Ford are close enough that I would drive a Chevy too.
Lol my best friend was die hard Chevy and I was Ford growing up so we always had a fun rivalry going on but we always agreed "hey at least it's not a Dodge". Now that my husband had a Dodge and my mom's minivan is one I accept them. Still anti Toyota and Nissan though.
I don't care for SUVs myself so I don't pay attention to them and can't say I have an opinion on which is better.
