I was particularly annoyed because it was not the first time I'd taken a photo class (although they are all film). I actually really enjoyed it, got a pretty easy A and an amazing Canon out of it.

While I'd have to see a more detailed description or a diagram of the parts of the camera, I feel pretty comfortable saying that it still employs the same tech. I think phones tend to have a rolling shutter, but the sensor is still the same. The sensor takes place of film in a traditional camera, you see, so it would be strange that it would not have one.
