Open minded an open hearted are two different things, both are important, both are needed. I've been there and understand what you're saying, but when I added my contrite heart in with my open mind things changed.

Yeah, like all the different papers on evolution that contradict each other. God intended for the Bible to be the only source, it's His word from Him personally why would there be a need for more than one. What does me being raised in the US have anything to do with it, many atheist were raised here too. Actually the bold (by me) makes no sense at all, but I still answered it for you.

Are you saying every paper on evolution is meant to stand alone? That explains a lot. And if you don't see how christianity is pushed on a conscious and unconscious level in the US, you're dimmer than I thought.
