Sympathizers often couch their positions in obfuscation. Denied. Our boy there, not only finding himself consistently against minorities in any given issue as one of The Usual Suspects, responded to the -faintest- (and probably unintentional) implication that he might just be a racist dirtball, by lobbing off the MLK was a shitty person defense...of confederate statues. It's like we're playing racist bingo.......
