Just out of curiosity, how's Japan doing?
I'm not an economist, but my perception is that they're doing very well. They seem to have strong industry coupled with a culture that places an emphasis on education and success. Not sure what that has to do with Judaism. I don't have any reason to think their success is a result of Jewish influence.
