How do you know that Paul was inspired as opposed to being just another 1st-century loon? Why not just say that he was just another nutjob like Travis Walton, except 2,000 years earlier in time?
Because what Paul taught us about God has been experienced by me, revealed by the Holy Spirit. I have found what Paul said to be true in my life. Paul never claimed to have seen space ships that couldn't have made a journey across the galaxy, he did claim to experience the supernatural God and creator of the universe as billions have over the last 2000 years.

I think that this is an incredibly stupid reason to believe, because you think that you are "inspired" by some nonexistent entity via the words of some dead individual. No different than Ron Hubbard believing that he was communing with a dead Neanderthal from 50K years ago.
