Bzzzt, sorry, that doesn't work. The article said the black woman entered 'six minutes after closing time', but the shop had served white customers 'two minutes prior', which would have been four minutes after the shop closed. So, it seems you can get service after closing if you're white, but not if you're black. And her being an activist strikes me as support for what she's saying not the other way round. Being an activist made her more likely to make noise about the unfair treatment she received.
But locking the door at closing does seem like a good idea.

If you notice the story doesn't say when the white customers entered the shop. It's extremely unlikely that they entered after the posted closing time. The "activist" is just engaging in assholery.
