I'm just not into worship, and feeling an obligation to pray five times a day would stress me out. When I belonged to a Buddhist group back in my 30s, it was recommended that we chant twice a day. After a while it just turned into a mechanical, emotionless exercise being done solely for the sake of getting in the requisite two sessions, and I finally quit the group and dropped the practice altogether.
