I think it depends.
If someone is going around broadcasting their political beliefs, or displaying hateful symbols, I think it would be reasonable to refuse service.
If you just happen to know what someone's beliefs are, then I don't see that as reasonable grounds. I think the moral thing to do is treat people decently while they are behaving decently.
I also think it's just going to create more friction, divisiveness and amunition to be bringing in politics when the customer hasn't done so.
