It is a correct observation.
But it seems strange for us to make that observation when we still get to still wear shorts.
We would complain for much less and the outcry in the west would be far larger if we had our shorts banned. :-)
It's not about morals or belief, it's a reason to rob people out of their cash.

blessed.
This is 2019, bigot. A lot of Saudi citizens took respectful ranks in the world; let's take "Kashoggi" for example. He was writing for The Washington Post ! other examples include professors like Madawi Al-Rashid

!
Which world do you live in?
You know nothing about Saudi Arabia or Islam, but you repeat what the rightist Church you follow says like a parrot. The situation is more complicated than you picture it ignorantly. we saw the aftermath of this speech in New Zealand's massacre.
Get out of your room. Outside; there are other cultures where men prefer to wear dresses. And you should shut up, swallow any negative remark and respect others; dipshit.

IF you are not wearing a man dress you will be fined and seem 'queer' to the MEN wearing dresses!
No. The OP didn't say that.
The OP said "that the kingdom's economy began to decay; and thus MBS started to look for any scapegoat to get money from."

Lots of Saudi men were trousers, and the government is perfectly OK with that. The restriction is about exposing skin, it has nothing to do with sexual preference.

The "thawb" is also worn in other Arab countries far away from Saudi Arabia.
It's an "Arabic cultural dress". And Saudies are Arabs.
Even the "Shwmagh -headscarf-" is widespread from SA to Palestine and Jordan.
I understand that, I was just pointing out that Drich is being his usual bigoted self by referring to it as a 'man dress'.
