Well, cookies can be rather useful. It makes it possible for a search engine to give you links that are actually relevant. Try finding information about some event that happened in Osijek (or whichever town you live in) while blocking the cookies. It's hard, isn't it? The search engines will give you some, for example, Romanian pages with words spelt similar to the Croatian words you typed in, completely irrelevant to what you are trying to find.
