The irony of the CHAZ or CHOP security
I don’t personally care that the PSJBGC carry weapons, concealed or otherwise. They have that right (though it’s worth noting that under Mayor Jenny Durkan’s toothless emergency decree, weapons are banned). But it’s worth noting the irony of left-wing activists setting up this kind of security

 Yeah because it not like Right wing groups have been threatening to take the area back .

Fringe voices on the Left — the kind that would, say, overtake a six-block piece of land thanks to feckless leadership of a terrified mayor 

Too my knowledge the mayor isn't terrified.The mayor just isn't a warmogering fool like commander bone spurs  and doesn't want a blood bath . 

 believe borders are racist. 

A position not commonly held . Borders are not inherently racist .But right wing border policies and border scar mongering seem kind of racist . (hell bernie sanders believes in borders )

Some even argue they shouldn’t exist.

Yup some not all not most but some 

Yet, when it comes to “their” land, they see some benefits to using borders to keep some potential dangers out.

And they did a pool to decide how many people in CHAZ hold either of these positions ? I thought not 

And of course, far Leftists are anti-gun. 

Umm no SOME far leftists are Anti gun (though even that's not totally accurate ) There are plenty of pro gun leftists 

Indeed, they constantly speak of repealing the Second Amendment. 

Again SOME Leftists do another most definitely are second amendment 
 

Yet, these voices are silent when it comes to heavily armed security as they play fort on Capitol Hill.

As an anti gun lefty i don't like the fact they have guns .But it's minor disagreement when compared to what we agree on

And of course the whole thing that right wing media group have been driven out of the CHAZ . Yeah the right have not desperately tried to the area a lawless hellscape and totally balanced and honest . It's not like they have doctored photos or taken taken video clips out of context or exaggerated them way out of proportion . All to agree with Trump or justify his use of disproportionate force or anything .
