Nice lie there, Dr Stavrakopolou didn't say that she thought Jesus existed, she said "most scholars" agreed that he did. Given that "most scholars" are christian theologians with little to no historical training, knowledge or interest that's not the same as admission that he existed.
I thought you lot were against lying. Oh, wait ... you're a christian. Carry on then.
Quote:That's indisputable.
Then you wouldn't have historians who study the period disputing it because the evidence would be overwhelming. Instead the evidence for Jesus is:
Also see above re lying.
Quote:Whether you believe His claim or not doesn't matter....
Actually if Jesus did exist, then the claim that he was divine would matter a lot. Especially considering it's the whole cornerstone of the christian cult and especially given that it's your lot's claim to absolute power. Pity then that even you realise that the claim is total bullshit (otherwise you wouldn't be dismissing it so easily would you?).
Quote:It's agreed on, and not denied that no one who has ever lived
has had: the following, the words and the miracles that Jesus has had
attributed to Him. He was profoundly; Truthful, spiritual and loving.
Total bullshit this. You can't take your own personal, private views and decide that everybody shares them. Even within christianity, you'll find that the above bullshit is, in some of its aspects, a very much minority view.
Quote:And none of it to Glorify Himself. Only God.[/qoute]
So god does nothing to glorify himself, he does everything to glorify god. Do you even listen to yourself you addle pated buffoon?
Quote:What more does one need to know?
Well, even a tiny bit of reality based knowledge would be nice. But if one is as wedded to childish fantasy as you are, knowledge is an unwanted and unloved thing.
[qoute]Now, the question is: do you believe He is the Son of God?
Why would I believe an impossibility?
Quote:If yes, then you are a Christian. If no, you are just denying God.
To fix this last sentence to remove the lies, "If yes, then you are a fantasist. If no, you are a realist."
