Holy crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went to the site and answered their questions based on my three dogs. With a 20% discount it would cost me over $140.00 every two weeks to feed them. Right now I spend about $40.00 a month to feed them.
My dogs will never know the wonders of this particular food.
But you will suffer for knowing that you could have provided better food. Based on their advertising, of course. FWIW, pet food is indeed taste-tested by humans.

But I don't want to be a pet food taster. My dogs get that bag of kibble, too.
Karm had a dental cleaning earlier this year and had some teeth removed - bad teeth being an unfortunate trait of the Cavalier. So for a couple weeks she was getting canned food...you could see the veggies in it. It was good quality food. After the healing was over Miss Thing was waiting for her special serving of the good stuff and it took a while for her to realize she was back on regular food like the boys were getting.
But damn - I sure can't afford what they want for that stuff in the ad.
After leaving the site I got an email offering a 60% discount...it's pretty obviously they are trying to see who will buy it at the original 20% off price. My dogs will remain deprived with a food that my vets say is just fine and won't put me in the poor house. It's not like they are getting Gravy Train or some other kibble that's twenty bucks a truckload.
