2. And subjects like abortion should be above the fickle opinions of the mob. It's disgusting enough that the fickle whims of a few partisan judges were allowed to strike it down based on nonsensical arguments.
3. If we followed the doctrine your proposing slavery and segregation would still be on the books throughout most of the American south.
