Nukes are always aiming, and yet they instil peace. Aiming a gun at a thug could prevent any harm to both sides. Assured destruction, strangely...it keeps things civil. Like standing on the edge of a cliff, assured death should you take one step forward and you know it. So you won't dare. Personally, I think we need a little something deadly looking straight at us to keep us from doing stupid things.
