I assume that homosexuality is a natural state. A specie destructive one too <-- which I think is the classical objection to it.
I went to a series of church meetings where it was openly discussed. You had your flamers who said their piece and stormed out. An ordained clergyman told us how he believed that he was born gay. I believed him.
I think society isn't quite right with homosexuality still. There was a great bit in around the world in 80 faiths (uk TV series) where this trendy vicar travelled the worlds religious hot spots... visited a mountain monastery of all male monks, who just naturally cuddled each other openly, slept together and fostered loving relationships with each other.
