I'm not saying I believe in ghosts, but I certainly have no problem with the idea. Ghosts are anti-Bible so they're alright by me.
I regularly play at a bar that was built in 1888 and is supposedly haunted by the Madam that use to run the brothel on the second floor. It's a very large old building with a lot of creepy rooms and scary corridors.
I've played there so many times. I've heard stories of people being pinched; stories about glasses mysteriously falling of counter tops; stories of seeing people walk through doors when no one is there ... sounds of footsteps, blah blah blah ... on and on with the standard spook rhetoric.
I've been there at 2/3/4 am packing up my gear by myself. I've been in that building with only one other person more times than I can count. I've walked through the many rooms on the second floor in the middle of the night for fun.
You know what ... I haven't seen or felt jack shit!
I think people hear all the stories and just want to be a part of the fun. Everybody wants to be a little important so they make up a tiny white lie about the ghosty that breathed on their neck or some other ridiculous shit. I don't buy it and I won't until such time that something happens to me personally and there is no doubt in my mind of what I experienced. Until that day ... No Ghosts.
