Your Meaning?

Just a thread posted out of curiosity. The question is: In your opinion, what is the meaning of life? Does this meaning apply to everyone, or is it individual? And if you could elaborate a bit, what led you to this conclusion?

There is no inherent meaning of life.
People can find temporary and personal meaning during their travels, but this is nothing more than opinion. Life is a journey, not a destination. I spent many years studying philosophy and found that nihilism / absurdism made the best sense when compared to the real world outside of an egotistical mindset. Every other philosophy seemed to be nothing more than opinions of the authors who created them in order to lend credence and/or justify some strong feelings or desires they had at the time. 
Um, meaning?
Did somebody suggest there should, or might be a meaning to life? Seems a crazy idea!
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

Most people ask "What is the meaning of life" in which they have loaded the question with an assumption that meaning already exists. In reality the best question is "Is there a meaning of life", in which I would say "Nobody can ever know". Besides, the universe so far display the fact that there is no inherent meaning of life as far as the humans relationship with the cosmos goes. This is called "The human condition". I have few: -will to live [survival instinct] -to have an child [maternal instinct] -desire to learn the knowledge [of all kinds] As a man, I don't have capability of sexual reproduction like women does, but I'd love to be daddy. However, I prefer to be childless because of my... possibly defective genes that I don't want to pass on. Anyway, I don't see any reason nor need religion to make my life meaningful. No meaning, but the chemicals in my brain react well with some actions that i take, so i partake in these actions frequently so my pointless existance is at least interesting for as long as it lasts.

And that's pretty much it isn't it? No meaning but certain things fulfill you, so you do them over and over. Seen this mooted before and you always get a theist come along and say "if there is no meaning, and you just do things because you enjoy them, why don't you go around killing people or something?" Well, because I like eating cakes more.
