Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity. Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist. You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them. He calls us stupid for being atheists... ...then he asks the atheist how to verify his god. Obvious troll is obvious... can someone PLEASE kick this troll to the curb? I thought you were ignoring me rev. Actually I thought ace was too... Anyways, I never said God was verifiable, someone else did. So I asked that person how.
You would thing among all the atheists around here a few of them would have an IQ over 140, but I think you'd be wrong. The only reason I came here in the first place was intelligent discussion. I have got nothing of the sort. It's like you guys aren't even trying to challenge your own beliefs. Sad. Oh well, at least it's entertaining. Variations on a familiar theme:
"Without God, there would be no basis for morality" "Without God, there would be no reason to use logic" "Without God, life is meaningless" For starters, this is the logical fallacy called Appeal to Consequences The universe is not under any obligation to conform to what we wish to be true. Even if the above quoted assertions WERE true, they would be non sequiturs to the question of whether or not God exists. Additionally, this familiar theme follows a familiar pattern: 1. Find a problem that doesn't exist. 2. Offer a vapid God(Verb)It to "solve" the "problem"
Atheist Forums Hall of Shame:
"The trinity can be equated to having your cake and eating it too." ... -Lucent, trying to defend the Trinity concept "(Yahweh's) actions are good because (Yahweh) is the ultimate standard of goodness. That’s not begging the question" ... -Statler Waldorf, Christian apologist RE: Question about meaning and perception of reality from a theist.

That is how I arrived at God hoc. I believe I exist, therefore God must exist.

Well there are steps in between ace. I have stated them countless times. Remember when I say God you should be hearing "reality".
