Sorry, I did not make that very clear did I, actually if there was not a fall there would never have been christianity. Christians are repentant and forgiven sinners.

Believe it or not you can believe God exist and still not be saved. Just because someone believes in God does not mean they accept him for who he truly is. Your example above would not necessarily get you into Heaven.
