Feels like home already.

Feels like home already.
Hello! My name is Ashleigh. It's great to find a place on the internet where I can voice my Atheist beliefs without being criticized or abused by the lovely children of Jesus. Rolleyes.

I used to be fiercely agnostic for a long time and then I decided to watch an Atheist documentary out of boredom. Richard Dawkins managed to convert me in less than 2 hours, I think it was because he stressed that nature is so glorious and wonderful on its own, why give "God" credit for it? Why do we need religion/god when we can just appreciate the universe and nature?

I decided to join this forum because I am sick of being a "quiet Atheist" who keeps my mouth shut at the risk of offending religious people. I no longer care. Big Grin

Welcome.

Hah, holy shit, according to your profile you are from Scotland... Where about? It gets rather lonely in this shit hole with very few atheist friends.
