I think the American form of government is one of the most beautiful of human creations. This is not saying it is perfect, or even close to being so, but that given the state of the art at the time in terms of governments, it was a masterstroke, and continues to inspire people around the globe.

That being said, I think that the U.S. rose to prominence by virtue of having an abundance of natural resources, rather than through any specific wisdom or greater competence than other nations. I fear that that superiority in resources ended some time ago, and, economically, the balance is beginning to redress (e.g. outsourcing of jobs to countries that offer better deals, tariff wars, etc.). And I'm not sure America is ready to be just another nation among nations. It's policies, domestic and foreign, are far from that endpoint.

-I like the USA but its Politicians are destroying it.

-But I'm also not a fan of the USA because of our foreign policy.

When I say I like the USA, I mean that I like the idea if it, I hate the ignorance bred by the awful media and the corruption that isn't to dissimilar to Yeltsin's Russia (it's really not, you got as Plutocrats as opposed to Oligarchs). The country is far to big, people have to much of an obsession with money, the foreign policy is a disgrace to it's citizens. It's ruined a wonderful language and the general population seems to be unable to hold conversation or use the correct words. I especially hate the was Americans raise the pitch of their voices at the end of a sentence, it gives the impression of asking a question. Also stop saying 'like', if you cannot think of anything to say, don't say a fucking word, please.

Still, i'd rather live there than anywhere else in the world, and I will too.

SOPA and PIPA are just the bits I have recently heard off.... firstly shoot your lawyers then your evangelists. Then fight tooth and nail to get your country back!

Well there are great people in the U.S. yes even down south Oklahoma, there are wonderful and open minded leaders...for some reason they never made it to the media lol...so the one that does are stupid ignorantt morons.
