That's what I was trying to get at.
BUT, my main point is that having a false belief i.e a 'delusion' does not mean you have psychosis. To have psychosis it must be clinical delusion.

No. Psychosis is a clinically recognized delusion. It is recognized by psychiatrists as an illness and you can be put on medication (i.e. anti psychotics) to treat it.
Religious delusion isn't psychosis because it is NOT clinically recognized as an illness and there is no prescribable medication to deal with it.

That still doesn't make it psychosis because it isn't clinically recognized as psychosis.
And not clinically recognizing it as such may indeed be a delusion, but it's not psychosis.
