Get your shit together so I can order something other than the southwestern omelette with black bean sauce....).

It was 10 years ago when i tried being a vegetarian. Things werent as 'friendly' to them as they are now.

Being vegan is as incredible amount of work. I had no idea how many random-ass foods had egg whites in them before I tried being vegan. Ugh, it sucked. Especially if you aren't living in a large city that has specific stores catering to vegans.

You can eat eggs and still be a vegetarian (one of it's best points over veganism)..... If you want to try out a vegetarian diet, I recommend middle eastern and mediterranean cuisine (I'd make the same recommendation for tourists to veganism).
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. Exactly. ..and if old thorham had actually came in cool and easy going he would have heard this come from me as well. It isnt easy being vegan. So many things have eggs, milk, sometimes animal fat, cheese... and being a vegetarian in the country is easy if you are eating at home. Plenty of fresh vegetables being sold on road markets. But eating out is difficult to find vegan friendly foods in a part of America that pretty much holds to being omnivorous.

There are animal products in the sidewalk under our feet..and in the electronics that people use to post long diatribes against animal products....lol. Very difficult to avoid indeed.

There are animal products used to feritilize the vegetables as they grow.

Not many, except in organics..lol. Petrochem prevails (as we are able to make higher quality fertilizers with a greater level of purity and efficiency out of them)
(I suppose we could call petrochem an animal product as well, if we were being very strict..or very loose, with the definition..but you don't see vegans swearing off cars, plastic, etc as a requirement of veganism very often)

Yep, animal products are everywhere, making it impossible to be completely vegan.

Of course not, because those animals died before humans even existed, possibly before mammals existed. Not an issue (exploitation isn't the case here).

The criteria for exploitation then being how long something has been dead? I'm not sure "exploitation" is an issue in the first place, but to each his own.

"Exploitation" huh?

So any meat eating or use of animals for ANYTHING is exploitation?

How is this not the same thing when dealing with plants?
